Farm Schemes

We are approved by the National Parks and Wildlife Service to draw up plans for farmers who have designated land (SAC, SPA etc) and who wish to avail of the payments under this scheme.

For farmers outside of REPS we offer a complete recording keeping service including Fertiliser Plans, Single Payment Scheme applications, Nitrates Records etc etc to enable them to comply with Cross Compliance regulations.

Farmers exceeding 170kg of organic nitrogen per ha require a derogation.  We assist farmers in making their application for a nitrates derogation and in preparing their nutrient management plan and subsequent record keeping. 

There are a range of payments available under the Afforrestation Scheme the aim of which is to promote forestry among farmers and to increase the area of the country under forestry. Payments are tax free and vary depending on factors such as type of trees planted, soil type etc etc. To arrange an onsite visit from a qualified forester to assess the suitability of your farm for forestry please contact info@agriconsultants.com
